OUR WORKSHOPS

Additionally each workshops will be provided with free recources to integrate what you have learnt!

Nervous System Regulation Strategies Workshop

1 hour

Do you or your staff find yourselves still thinking anxiously about work after hours? This often stems from an unregulated nervous system. This workshop provides strategies for service providers and support workers to regulate their own nervous systems and help participants do the same. By learning to reset after tough situations, your team will improve focus and maintain a healthier work-life balance, benefiting both staff retention and participant care.

De-escalation Workshops

(90min)

Have you ever faced a participant in a meltdown, where everything you try makes it worse? This happens when the right strategies aren't in place. Unmanaged meltdowns increase stress, damage trust, and disrupt progress. Our De-escalation Strategies Workshop teaches effective techniques to calm meltdowns and recognise early signs of dysregulation, allowing support workers to intervene before escalation and help participants return to a regulated state, creating a more stable environment.

Support Work Mental Health Foundations Workshop

(90-1.5 hours)

The NDIS field can be emotionally exhausting, not only for participants but also for the staff providing care. This workshop dives into practical mental health strategies designed to help workers recognise early signs of burnout, protect their own mental health, and support the well-being of participants. By fostering resilience and emotional awareness, this workshop helps reduce staff turnover, improve participant outcomes, and create a healthier, more balanced work environment.

Leadership Workshop

(90 min)

Strong leadership is essential to thriving in the NDIS space. As service providers, your staff looks to you for guidance, so why not lead in a way that truly inspires your team? This workshop offers leadership strategies you can integrate into your business while addressing overlooked pain points. By refining your leadership skills, you’ll build a more cohesive, motivated workforce, improving outcomes for both your staff and participants.

Stress and Burnout Workshop

(90min)

At ADA, we recognise the challenges faced by the disability sector, where the stress on service providers and support workers leads to a 21% staff turnover rate. This turnover incurs high costs from constant hiring and training, while participants struggle to form lasting relationships with new workers. Our workshop, led by a mental health expert, provides strategies to prevent burnout and stress, enabling service providers and support workers to retain staff long-term and reduce costs.

Personalised Workshop

At ADA, we understand that each participant is unique, and a one-size-fits-all approach doesn't work. That’s why we offer personalised workshops tailored to the specific needs of each participant. These custom-made workshops provide targeted support strategies that align with the participant's individual goals and challenges, ensuring the best possible outcomes for both the participant and the service provider.
